ABOUT ME

Hi there, I’m Pei.

I’m here to support you and your growth, as you navigate life’s challenges and transitions. Originally from Southeast Asia and now based in Australia, I offer a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed approach to therapy—supporting children, adolescents, and adults through in-person and telehealth sessions. My practice is grounded in empathy, understanding, and an unconditional commitment to your mental and emotional wellbeing.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve worked across diverse settings including private practice, schools, and out-of-home care services. I’ve had the privilege of working closely with a senior independent expert on complex matters involving family law, care and protection, and criminal matters. Therapeutically, I have special interests working with children and women who are survivors of family and/or domestic violence. In addition to my clinical work, I’m a board-approved supervisor and am passionate about mentoring early-career psychologists and clinical registrars as they grow in their therapeutic work.

Alongside my therapeutic and assessment work, I have facilitated sports performance and sports psychology workshops for female athletes. With a background in high-level sport myself, I continue to offer mental performance coaching for athletes across Australia and New Zealand—helping individuals at all levels cultivate focus, confidence, and balance both on and off the field. I am honoured to be a consultant with the wellbeing working group for FISAF Sport Aerobics (Australia), whose aim is to empow[h]er the next generation of strong, confident, young women.

Outside the therapy room, I find comfort and groundedness in nature—whether hiking, trail running, or tending to my vegetable and herb garden. My own self-care practices include journalling, somatic work, and regular therapy, which I value as part of my own growth. I believe that holding space for others begins with nurturing ourselves. I enjoy curling up with a good book and you'll often find me engrossed in historical fiction with female protagonists. My current favourites include Stacey Halls or Jessie Burton. I have recently published a new blog or Substack to chronicle my reflections and grounding practice and invite you to join me.

Wherever you are on your journey, I welcome you into a safe, non-judgmental space where we can gently explore your inner world—at your pace, with compassion and curiosity.
